Official Dolores County Contacts

For a local jail booking or release record, start with the sheriff. For the court order, bond, sentence, warrant, probation sentence, or disposition that explains a release, use Dolores Combined Court. For probation reporting questions, use Dove Creek Probation.

Where to Route the Question

  • For a released Dolores County inmate or release record, use the home page for the full search and records-request path, then contact the sheriff if an official document is needed.
  • For post-release supervision, start with probation and parole. Probation is usually tied to the court case; parole belongs to CDOC and the Colorado State Board of Parole.
  • For who was just released, see Jail Releases: 24 Hours. Dolores County did not have an official recent-release web feed in the research, so the page explains the sheriff, court, VINE, and records-request fallback.
  • For a release date or alert, compare Projected Release with VINELink Inmate Search. CDOC handles state-prison time and discharge records; VINE handles notification-oriented status where a record is available.
  • For federal custody, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator for federal inmates and USMS records paths for federal pretrial or transport custody.
  • For immigration custody, use ICE ODLS only if the person may be in current ICE custody or CBP custody for more than 48 hours.
